Hi! I’m Julia. I am a high school student in San Francisco who, like so many teens, is constantly told what is “healthy” for me. But I really just wanted to know, Why?

Why should I get 8 hours of sleep? Why should I eat my vegetables? How are these things actually helping my body? To answer these questions, I started Is That Healthy, a short podcast to break down the reasons behind the habits we all hear are good for us in a less overwhelming and hopefully understandable way!
